Loving Bonifacio Global City

People say that one’s lifestyle is defined by one’s city. If that were true, then I probably am a living, breathing fragment of that big scoop of wonderful called Bonifacio Global City. Yes, I have more than enough reasons to love the BGC district. From ultra chi-chi malls to dirt-cheap bazaars, art tours to fun runs, ritzy restaurants to quiet coffee shops, I find myself waking up to interesting everydays right at the heart of BGC.

Dining out can be quite a challenge here with its wide array of restaurants. For an Asian-fusion dinner, my top pick is Chef Laudico at Netsquare. For a cozy and laidback night with scrumptious tapas and some Spanish wine, I usually head towards Barcino in Forbeswood Heights . Being a big fan of French cuisine, I swear by the croissants and aperitifs at Alexandre ( 31st Street ) , the Pinot Noir at Cuillere (Serendra) and the lamb shank Provencal at Je Suis Gourmand (Net One). For a night cap, there are eclectic drinks being served at Distillery in Burgos Circle. There’s always something to do at Bonifacio Global City . Each day holds a wonderful bag of surprises for me---- there’s always a new shop to ransack, a happy mix of people to carouse with, a new restaurant to test and a wave of hot parties to get invited to.
