With breezy vocals and tangy pseudo-electronica beats, Owl City is a one-man Postal Service. It amazes me that the wunderkind behind this project is an emaciated-looking, emo-hairdooed 23 year-old by the name of Adam R. Young. He does with a laptop what other artists could only hope to do with a full band.
It's hard not to get hooked to "Hello Seattle" at first listen.
And "Fireflies" is synthpop at its tongue-in-cheek perfection.
