The Killers cancels Manila tour!
"The Killers" have canceled their Asian tour citing “unforeseen circumstances” in a statement on their official website. What a bummer! Aside from the Manila concert set on January 31 at the Mall of Asia concert grounds, the band have also canceled their appearances in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul.
"The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hope to reschedule their shoes in these cities soon," the statement read.
This was confirmed by the show's organizers Worldwide Bomb and Saga Events. However, the band's planned concert in Australia will remain as scheduled.
My hopes are still up that they would be able to reschedule.
For the uninitiated, The Killers is composed of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), David Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci (drums). They are responsible for two of the best songs to come from the last decade: “Mr. Brightside” and “All These Things That I’ve Done”.
Refunds will be given by Ticketworld.
