"When Timawa Meets Delgado" at U-View Fully Booked, Jan 17
Here's a chance for you to watch Ray Gibraltar's indie gem "When Timawa Meets Delgado" (2007).
The Tioseco-Bohinc Film Series picks up where Alexis Tioseco left off with his Fully Booked screenings, featuring independent cinema that deserve more audience than it has. "When Timawa Meets Delgado" is an experimental narrative documentary about health care and the nursing boom in the Philippines that is virtually indescribable and also funny as hell.
The film will be shown on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Fully Booked High Street (U-View) from 3 pm to 5pm. Filmmaker Ray Gibraltar and poet J.I.E. Teodoro will be in attendance. Admissions is free, hope to see you there!
